South Tirol’s smallest town Glurns enchants with its mediaeval, peaceful ambience. A walk from our hotel in Glurns to the gate towers, along the well-preserved town walls and through the narrow alleys is an experience in itself. The popular guided tours of the town reveal the history of Glurns to guests. Worth seeing are the restored town mill and the church gate tower with the permanent exhibition about famous Glurns draughtsman Paul Flora. The attractions in Glurns also include the whiskey distillery PUNI.

All through the year, arcade markets liven up the former trading town. Every Wednesday there is a weekly market, in May a flower market is held, in summer handicraft markets and the farmers’ market, the Pala Pear market in September and the autumn market in October. The Sealamorkt (All Souls market) in November is even one of the biggest markets in South Tirol. The highlight in winter is the enchanting Glurns Advent.
